Never had to worry about this before technological revolution. But we are experiencing a radical shift in our communication patterns now. Those notification settings of yours keep jumping between you and films you’re watching. The sound you’ve selected for your alarm, for example, goes off. You glance at your phone. Maybe you missed it? Then it goes off again. Again? Then again and again and again because this is now the world as we know it. Damn. There it goes again. Eventually you have no other choice. You have to face reality. There’s no fucking way it’s mine!
