STEWING THE ROOSTER

Like I said on Instagram, if you think Chicken is tasty (and, of course, we all know Turkey – not the country – is very tasty) you have no idea how tasty poultry can be, until you’ve stewed a Rooster!

It has a wild game type of flavor to it, incredibly rich, mouth-watering, kind of taste. And it goes really well with pasta, and especially, χιλοπιτες, pasta cut into tiny squares, and with lots of Μυζήθρα, a mild cheese, used specifically for pasta, and which can usually be found in shops that import Greek Specialty Food Products. 

It’s a heavenly combination!
