The Case for The Parthenon Marbles

We need to look at this realistically and call what it is.

The British have produced beautiful literature. They are the masters of that.

But they have also been (unintentionally) the butt of Humor when it comes to the Parthenon Marbles.

They’ve been able to reach levels of Absurdity that Sartre only dreamed of…

In their justification to keep them.

They’re the laughing stock of the World. Doesn’t help their image much when their portraits are placed alongside Keats.
